Our journey as collaborators began long before Paragon Realty Advisors. At Dallas Medical Holdings, our synergy was clear. Mark served as CEO, and Kyle as CFO. Together, we were a formidable team, instrumental in managing and significantly enhancing the value of the company's extensive real estate portfolio, which prominently featured specialized medical office spaces. We adeptly handled all aspects – from acquisition and financing to leasing and property management, transforming these holdings into a key profit center through strategic deal-making and a keen focus on investor returns.
This successful collaboration naturally evolved. We co-founded Nexus Property Group, strategically targeting the multi-family apartment sector. Our involvement was deep: identifying properties, conducting rigorous financial and physical due diligence, and raising over $1.5 million in equity for properties valued at over $10 million. Over seven years, we successfully acquired, managed, and ultimately sold 193 apartment units, always with a hands-on approach and a constant focus on maximizing value for our investment partners.
Simultaneously, Paragon Property Co. was born, providing comprehensive property management services across various asset types. We expertly handled over $1.3 million in annual rent and HOA dues, overseeing all facets of tenant relations, owner communications, leasing, site inspections, and building repairs.

Mark brings nearly 35 years of comprehensive real estate expertise to Paragon Realty Advisors, with over two decades deeply rooted right here in the North Texas market. His background is multifaceted, encompassing:
- Appraisal & Finance: Earning the prestigious AACI appraisal designation in Canada, Mark valued luxury residential properties and complex commercial assets. His financial acumen was further sharpened as a Commercial Mortgage Loan Originator for the Royal Bank of Canada, managing substantial commercial financing needs and a private-investor portfolio exceeding $1 billion in residential real estate.
- Brokerage & Investment Sales: He was a top-producing investment sales associate at Colliers International in Toronto, specializing in multi-family property transactions, and even founded Meras Property Co.
- Property Management & Tax: Mark has hands-on experience in property management across single-family homes, multi-family complexes, and medical office buildings, as well as expertise in property tax assessments.
- Executive Leadership: As CEO for Patient Place and Dallas Medical Holdings until their sale in 2016, he not only led operational growth but also expertly managed significant medical office real estate portfolios, from lease negotiations to property development.
- Entrepreneurship: Co-founding Nexus Property Group (sponsoring and syndicating multi-residential property deals) and Paragon Property Co. (setting standards for investor-focused property management) were natural progressions.
Mark’s robust experience provides a strong foundation for navigating the intricacies of today's market, particularly single-family homes. His degrees in Economics, Computer Science, and Law (emphasizing Contract Law and Real Estate Transactions) further enhance his negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities, complemented by numerous industry designations.

Kyle’s journey began with an Economics degree from Duke University. He advanced to the role of CFO at Patient Place and Dallas Medical Holdings alongside Mark, playing a critical, hands-on role in managing diverse real estate assets. This involved direct responsibility for:
- Strategic Transactions: Acquisitions, sales, complex refinancing, and leasing negotiations, always prioritizing the financial objectives of stakeholders.
- Financial Expertise: During this period, Kyle earned a Master of Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas, with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. He is adept in financial planning, GAAP accounting, and business development.
- Investment & Operations Leadership: As Co-Founder of Nexus Property Group, Kyle was deeply involved in all operational and strategic aspects, from identifying and conducting rigorous due diligence on multi-family investment properties to raising equity. He managed high-net-worth investor relations and brokered property purchases and sales within their portfolio. His role at Paragon Property Co. involved overseeing day-to-day property management operations.
- Deep Single-Family Experience: Critically, Kyle has been actively involved with White Mountain Resources since 2000, a family-owned business operating nearly two dozen single-family residential properties. This provides over two decades of direct, continuous experience in the acquisition, sale, and management nuances of the single-family housing sector.
Kyle is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and holds TRLS (Texas Residential Leasing Specialist) and TRPM (Texas Residential Property Manager) designations, leveraging his skills to ensure clients receive sound advice and achieve their investment goals.
